Starting June 2024, all previously inactive regions have been converted to GEM based Regions. These GEM based regions now have similar benefits as activated regions, the only difference is that the GEM based regions earn GEMs at the end of the cycle instead of both in-app NATIX and GEMs. Here is the comparison of the features available for GEM based and activated (NATIX based) regions:
- Cycles & Leaderboard: both GEM based and NATIX based regions participate in a monthly cycle and compete for the rank on the Regional Leaderboard.
- Points: users in both GEM based and NATIX based regions earn points for driving and completing missions during the Cycle to rank on the Regional Leaderboard. Points for both GEM based Regions and NATIX based regions reset back to 0 at the end of the cycle.
- End-of-the-cycle rewards: based on their position on the Regional Leaderboard at the end of the Cycle, users in NATIX based regions may earn both in-app NATIX and GEMs. based on their position on the Regional Leaderboard at the end of the Cycle, users in NATIX based regions may earn GEMs only.
- Marketplace: NATIX based regions can redeem items from the Marketplace for GEMs and/or in-app NATIX. GEM based regions can redeem items from the Marketplace for GEMs only. This includes the Marketplace Raffle tickets as well.
- NITRO: Users in both NATIX based and GEM based Regions can activate NITRO under the same conditions.
- Social Quests: Users in both NATIX based and GEM based Regions can participate in Social Quests under the same conditions.
- HODL: Users in both NATIX based and GEM based Regions can use the In-app HODL feature under the same conditions.
