Located on the Home Screen, the connectivity widget helps you monitor the connection status between your phone and the VX360 device, ensuring seamless footage collection.

An inactive status isn’t necessarily a problem - it simply means your phone isn’t currently connected to your VX360. You can still upload any pending footage if you have completed onboarding previously.
However, if you want to start driving and collecting footage for rewards, your connectivity widget must be active.
- Ensure your VX360 app is updated to the latest version
- Make sure you’re using the same phone you used to set up your VX360 device
If not, it must be a phone on the same platform (Android or iOS) - Ensure Bluetooth is enabled in your phone's settings
However, the device won't show up in your Bluetooth Device list.
Currently, the only indicator of a successful connection is the Active status - Ensure Location is turned on in your phone's system settings.
- Check that all required phone's permissions have been granted
- Make sure your phone has an active internet connection while driving (Mobile data)
- Keep your phone within 2 meters of your powered VX360 device, in still position
(charged if necessary)
Important to note:
1) If you encountered an Inactive device status during onboarding (initial setup), then the above checklist is crucial for getting an Active connection.
2) If you encountered Inactive device status suddenly after completing the initial setup, also check all of the above and do the following:
- log out of the app, clear app cache:
iPhone: Settings, App management, tap VX360 then Offload
Android: Settings, Apps, tap VX360, Storage then Clear cache
- log back into the app and reconnect
